Diablo 4 is an unfinished bad game – don’t buy

There isn’t really much more to add.
70€ for this boring solofest.
What a waste of money.

Last Activison Blizzard product I’ll ever buy.

What pisses me off, I didn’t even want to buy it, but I got seduced by Twitch streamers.
Despite better knowledge.
The thing is, when there’s a charismatic Twitch streamer and you think “hey it’s a good game” because he is having fun or pretending to have fun, well it’s his job to have fun and sell the game, then you think you’ll have fun too.
But that’s a delusion.

1. Clan size is limited to 150 people.
So you can’t join the streamer’s clan, because it’s always full. And he doesn’t give a shit to create multiple clans.
2. No means of social interaction.
No LFG/M, no LFG channel, even chatting is “hard”, because it’s restricted to your immediate area.
So you can’t just find a group. People in town are mostly AFK.
And that’s in a forced online game.
3. Split game and endless grind
Before you complete the 6 acts of the story, the game is rather boring and it completely changes once you’ve finished it.
But in the end it’s all the same anyway. Grind to no end.
It’s just an awful, endless grind.

This game is hands down the worst Diablo title of them all.

Lost Ark: Can’t play on EU servers? 10027? Switch region to US East and play without queues

You’ve been trying to play Lost Ark on Central European servers and you’re getting 10027 error or high queues?
Why bother going through all that nerve wrecking stuff?
Just switch the server region to US East.
It’s the closest one to Europe and ping is between 90-110ms, absolutely playable fine.

Baldur’s Gate 3? It sucks

note
This was written for the pre-release version, the 5 or so years of “early access”.
The complete game is actually good, but the critique about the starter area is still valid.
Also the game is incomplete, a whole city area in act 3 was cut.

Why does it suck?
Because of missed expectations.
It’s Divinity Original Sin 3, not Baldur’s Gate 3.

It starts great, with an interesting story, but what comes next is not interesting. It’s the starter island of DOS2 revisited.
Everywhere you go the environment wants to kill you.
Traps, goblins, nazi druids. Everything is packed, there’s no normal way of life. One occurence to the next and one area to the next. Suddenly you’re in a swamp and then you’re in a rocky dry area. Come on, what is this? A tech demo?
You don’t even have full customizablilty of your characters. Why am I limited to 17 dex on a rogue? And the wizard can go either evocation based or abjuration based. Why not necromancy or illusion or conjuration?

Baldur’s Gate was a milestone, just like NWN was. But Baldur’s Gate 3 is not that. It’s DOS2 with a “proper” D&D skin.
And it makes too heavy use of non-sensical dice checks.
The game “Low magic age” has a more in-depth and accurate adaption of the D&D ruleset than BG3.

I am disappoint.

Graphics and sound are nice but who cares? There are so many glitches and it’s a damn slap in the face that the customer is supposed to play tester and pay for playing tester.

In it’s current state the verdict is 2/10
